    Stayed here in the late 80s & early to mid 90s. Sad to drive past today (following a long haul back from Caloundra) to see the state of the building - overgrown vegetation, no love at all. A lot of memories here with my family when Golden Sands was presentable, lively & accommodating back in the day. A trip down memory lane brought a tear to my eye. 4 stars based purely on the golden years, a mere 1 in todays condition...!
